Overview

xCloud is a cloud hosting and server management platform that brings server, website, application, deployment, backup, security, and other infrastructure management into a centralized interface.

As a UI/UX & Product Designer, I worked on simplifying complex technical workflows and creating a consistent, scalable product experience.

The Challenge

Cloud infrastructure products can be complex, with users managing servers, websites, domains, databases, deployments, backups, and security from a single platform.

The key challenge was to make powerful technical functionality feel simple, clear, and approachable without limiting advanced users.

Design Approach

I focused on three key principles:

Simplify complexity
Organized technical information into clear sections and intuitive workflows.
Design for real-world states
Considered loading, empty, success, error, warning, processing, and permission states.
Build for scale
Created reusable Figma components and patterns to maintain consistency as the product evolved.
Create a cohesive brand experience
Aligned the product’s visual identity, UI elements, and design language to deliver a consistent and recognizable brand experience.

Design System

I worked with reusable Figma components, variants, Auto Layout, styles, variables, and responsive patterns to create a consistent design language across the product.

The system helped connect individual screens into a cohesive product experience and supported smoother developer handoff.

Collaboration & QA

I worked closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams throughout the design process.

After development, I reviewed implementations for visual consistency, responsive behavior, spacing, interaction details, and missing product states.

Outcome

My contribution helped shape a clearer, more consistent, and scalable experience for managing complex cloud infrastructure.

The project strengthened my experience in designing complex SaaS products, dashboards, technical workflows, design systems, and developer-ready experiences.
