Templately is a template marketplace built for WordPress creators, offering ready-made website templates and design resources for Elementor and Gutenberg.
The platform helps users build professional websites more efficiently by providing customizable designs for different industries and use cases.
I worked on the Templately website and designed 40+ ready-made templates for the marketplace, focusing on creating visually engaging layouts, consistent design patterns, and flexible website experiences.
The Challenge
Creating a successful template marketplace requires more than attractive designs. Templates need to look professional, communicate information clearly, and remain flexible enough for users to customize for their own brands and business needs.
The key challenge was to design diverse, high-quality website templates while maintaining visual consistency, usability, and flexibility across different layouts and use cases.
The marketplace website also needed to present its offerings clearly and help users understand the value of ready-made templates.

I focused on three key principles:

Maintain visual consistency

Template Design System
Across 40+ ready-made templates, I focused on creating structured layouts with consistent spacing, clear typography, balanced visual hierarchy, and reusable design patterns.
The goal was to maintain a high standard of visual quality while accommodating different content types, business categories, and branding requirements.
This approach helped create a more cohesive collection of templates without making every design look identical.
Outcome
My contribution helped expand Templately's collection of ready-made website designs and support its marketplace experience.
